Race 4 Chase

Caring for someone with a spinal cord injury is a 24 hour-a-day, seven day-a-week job.  It is always involves risk, takes a significant amount of time and effort, and can be very expensive.  Chase lives alone with his father - Johnny Borders.  Johnny is the sole proprietor of Renegade Suspension of Alabama. He builds motocross suspensions in a small shop next to their double-wide trailer right outside the front gates of Monster Mountain where Chase was paralyzed.  Because Johnny has little help caring for Chase, insurance doesn't cover anywhere near the costs of his care, and Chase's need for almost constant care cuts down on the time Johnny has to build suspensions, the funds availabe to care for Chase are very limited. 

The most beautiful thing about the motocross family is that we take care of our own.  Since Chase's crash, Johnny and Chase have been blessed with a tremendous amount of love and support.  But while the interest in Chase's crash sometimes takes a vacation, his need for care and the need to buy medicine, supplies, and groceries never does.
